Marysville, WA

Our Perennial Hub.

Located 30 minutes North of Seattle, Marysville is tucked away at the base of the Cascade Mountains. It is the largest site of the Smith Gardens family consisting of 60 acres, with 500,000 square feet of greenhouse space. Opened in 1988, Marysville is the primary site for perennial production, but also grows mums, hanging baskets and annuals. In 2014 5.7 million plants were shipped out of the Marysville facility. It is also the home of the Smith Gardens Trial Gardens, constructed in 2013, where over 1,000 varieties are trialed each year.

It takes up to 180 team members to successfully perform a season, 60 of whom are fulltime. Product is shipped out of the site 32 weeks a year, but the growing process is year round. Shipping can begin as early as January and continue all the way through October, weather dependent. During our peak shipping week we will have 90 trucks leaving the site delivering over 400,000 plants to our customers across the Pacific Northwest all the way into Canada and Alaska.
